Title I Targeted Assistance Plan

The Title I Targeted Assistance Plans address how the schools and Arab City School System will use Title I funds.  Topics include: student academic assessments, additional assistance provided to struggling students, coordination and integration of federal funds and programs, parental involvement strategies,  and funds set-aside for English Language Learners and homeless students.  You, as Title I parents, have the right to be involved in the development of the Title I plans.

Parental Involvement Plans

The Parental Involvement Plans address how Arab City School System will implement the parental involvement requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.  It includes: the expectations of the parents, how parents will be involved in decision-making, and how Arab City School System will work to build the schools' and parents' capacity for strong parental involvement to improve student academic achievement.  You, as Title I parents, have the right to be involved in the development of the plan.

 Arab City School System, Arab Primary School, and Arab Elementary School's Parental Involvement Plans were sent home to all Title I parents at the end of August.

Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP)

The CIP is your school's Continuous Improvement Plan and includes: a needs assessment and summary of data, goals and strategies to address academic needs of students, professional development needs, coordination of resources/comprehensive budget, and the school's parental involvement plan.  You, as Title I parent, have the right to be involved in the development of this plan.
